Introduction

With the rebrand of their website Mitsubishi needed to help shoppers build an emotional connection with the vehicles and bring them from screen to shop floor while offering data to provide a more responsive customer experience.


Context

We created an immersive car configurator using 3d renders and an interactive 360 degree turntable so shoppers can customise and visualise their dream car. To customize even further we brand contextual imagery of parts and accessories rather than the usual text-based tables commonly used.


Challenges

Being used to their historic CMS, the client wanted to keep Silverstripe for that rebuild. This caused quite some trouble in order to keep the freedom of modern frontend development (Single Page Vue Application) with a more traditional CMS approach.
